According to Deadline, Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim: Uprising, Triple Frontier, 6 Underground) has a role in the upcoming Disney+ series about rebel agent Cassian Andor.
It won’t be a surprise that casting and pre-production on the series is well underway; recently it was announced through official channels that Denise Gough, Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller will appear in the Rogue One prequel series.
As usual, speculation remains as to what role the athletic actress would play, although some fans suspect that this might be Cassian Andor’s sister. Anyway, until Lucasfilm officially reveals Arjona’s arrival to the production of their upcoming series, this news is nothing more than a (strong) rumor.
If Arjona did indeed participate in a Star Wars production, despite her young career, it would not be the first or even second time that she had to deal with a Star Wars actor; in Pacific Rim: Uprising she already worked with John Boyega and in the Netflix film Triple Frontier she appeared on the small screen with Oscar Isaac. In March 2021, Arjona can be seen again on the big screen in the film Morbius.
At the end of this month Star Wars Celebration Anaheim would have taken place where Lucasfilm would have made new announcements about cast and productions. Although Celebration is canceled in physical form, it is quite possible that we will find out more about known and unannounced productions in the coming weeks.
